DIRECT ANSWER

What are cone and bowl liners?

Mantle and bowl (concave) liners are the paired wear surfaces that form a cone crusher’s crushing chamber. The mantle covers the moving cone head and the bowl liner sits in the fixed bowl; together they set the crushing profile and closed-side setting. Cast in manganese steel that work-hardens under compression, they are replaced in matched pairs as the profile wears and the setting opens up.

Cast Bespoke to Your Machine

Every mantle and bowl liner we cast is matched to the specific cone crusher it will run in: either to your own drawing, to the worn liner you send us, or to OEM dimensions you confirm with us directly. We don’t publish a public catalogue of drawing numbers or client specifications: casting to your machine’s exact chamber profile, rather than off a generic reference list, is how we keep the closed-side setting right first time.

Send your crusher make and model, a drawing, or a worn sample, and we will confirm dimensions, material grade and hardness before we quote.

FAQ: Cone & Bowl Liners

Wear life depends on feed hardness, closed-side setting and duty cycle. [TBC: confirm typical wear-life ranges before publishing.]
Yes: dimensions are taken off the worn liner and a pattern made if no drawing is available.
Mn13 suits most crushing duty and is the default choice; Mn18 is worth the extra cost where feed is hard and abrasive and impact is high enough to work-harden it.
MOQ depends on the product and a number of other factors. Send us your part number or drawing and we’ll confirm the minimum for your order.
